It’s Time to Establish a Baseline

This shitshow needs a thesis statement, and so here’s one that’s as good as any:

The goal of society must be to improve the quality of life for all mankind, and to propel us into the future.

That means doing more than punishing the guilty — it means working to understand them so that we can prevent others from becoming guilty at all. Because the alternative is a loss of humanity.

That means more than sandbagging impending catastrophe — it means charging headlong into the fray and giving it everything we’ve got. Because the alternative is a loss of human civilization.

That means more than being right. That means taking righteous action.

Up next Gaetz Yesterday’s lecture closed with a rhetorical question, but today we were lucky enough to get a real answer anyway!
