Solving Climate Change

The thing about “we will solve climate change like we’ve solved the other problems as they’ve come along” is that 1) we didn’t solve them, we kicked the can down the road and 2) even were that not the case, the simple fact is each climate change esque problem was “solved” at the expense of some percentage of the world population.

Everyone who thinks we will “solve” climate change via technological progress assumes they’re not among those who will be left behind. I hope they’re right.
