It is no longer possible to remain informed about current events by following one or two or even several sources. You need to pick many, and connect the dots between them to truly see what’s going on.
Recognize that the people who control the media are billionaires. They are incentivized on multiple fronts to mislead and confuse you.
This is not a moralizing conspiracy, that’s simply how capitalism works — a scared, ignorant customer is a more reliable customer than a stable, educated one (see: the entirety of Fox News’ business plan).
